"The United Nations Association of Trinidad and Tobago (UNATT) has once again made a contribution to the Scholarship Fund of the Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (TTHTI).

UNATT President, Elton A Prescott, SC on December 10 visited the Institute's campus in Chaguaramas, where he delivered a cheque to Dr Patricia Butcher, Executive Director of the TTHTI.

Over the past three years, UNATT's donation has assisted 15 students to further their studies, with the ultimate aim of helping to develop qualified professionals in the hospitality and tourism sector.

The funds are part proceeds of ticket sales for the annual UNATT Brunch which is held to celebrate United Nations Day. It is held at TTHTI, whose students prepare the menu. New this year was the contribution of a national dish by some diplomatic missions.

UNATT is a non-profit organization which promotes and supports the objectives of the United Nations System, such as currently the attainment of its Sustainable Development Goals. It was established in 1996 and is a member of the World Federation of United Nations Associations, headquartered in New York."
