What's new at UNATT?



Attend our Quarterly General Meeting on March 23rd, 2013

Our first Quarterly General Meeting for 2013 which will be held at the Normandie, 10 Nook Avenue, St Ann's on Saturday March 23, 2013 beginning at 9.00 a.m. The various sub-committees will present their reports and plans for the rest of the year will be announced.

Immediately following the meeting at 10.00 a.m., the Honourable Ramona Ramdial, Minister in the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, will address us on “ Safe drinking water, sanitation and a sustainable environment - a Human Right ” in recognition of World Water Day, which is to be observed on March 22

 

Alternative Energy Project

 


In 2009, UNATT under an agreement with United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) with financial support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) implemented a project entitled: "Mainstreaming Renewable Energy Resources in Secondary Schools Laboratories and Raising Youth Awareness on Diversified Energy Solutions in Trinidad and Tobago ." Short Title: " Alternative Energy Project."

At this Quarterly General meeting, the eight schools that participated will be presented with plaques in recognition of their participation in this project. A video on the project will also be shown.
